2393 Črna na Koroškem
The six-metre-high Plečnik monument stands in the centre of the municipality and everybody arriving in Črna can see it.
On 31 August 1952, Plečnik’s artwork, dedicated to the victims of World Wars I and II, was revealed amid a great celebration. Jože Plečnik had not seen the monument's location and prepared the plans based on photographs of the square and terrain data. Plečnik's letter to the municipality, in which he offers sincere thanks for the erection of the monument and regrets not being able to attend the unveiling ceremony, is still preserved. This was the penultimate piece of architect Jože Plečnik, which he accomplished with his architecture students. In 2015, it was pronounced a cultural monument of national importance and restored in 2017.
