The Olympic Trail begins at the Črna Sports Park in Pristava. It is dedicated to seven Olympic athletes, hence the seven stops spread out from Mušenik to Pristava and to the primary school in Črna; each of the stops presents one of our Olympic athletes and their sports discipline in a distinctive, interesting and attractive way. Each of the stops features the achievements of the individual Olympic athlete, an Olympic bench and a fitness machine where you can exercise outdoors. This part of the trail is 2000 metres long and has an educational and recreational purpose, because visitors can learn about our Olympic athletes or exercise in our beautiful town's natural environment.
Continue on the Honey Walkway towards Črna Beekeeping House where beekeepers teach you about bees and the bee-keeper’s work. Numerous interesting tools, accessories and beehives as well as pictures present bees and the beekeeper’s work; thus, they remind us about the bee's important role for humans.
The path past the Črna Beekeeping House leads to Teber Green Path. The educational path in the forest is 800 m long and is laid out on a slightly hanging slope to an orchard, on a forest clearing and next to a stream all the way to a meadow, ending at an organic farm. At the side of the path, signs highlight the distinctive features of the educational path. A salamander marks the path. Some sections are protected with wooden railings, made out of natural materials. On the path you can see many rare forest and meadow flowers, as well as edible and inedible mushrooms.
The Olympic Trail to the Honey Walkway and Teber Green Path is an important enrichment of Črna has to offer tourists and sports enthusiasts, as it is situated in the very centre and just above Črna’s town centre; thus, it offers visitors activities for leisure time and relaxation in nature with the energy-giving forests, sun and water, which are beneficial for your well-being.
